A Beautiful Fall Day

We went for a Sunday drive today and enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery. Sunday drives are what we did as kids. One of my favourite things to do.

On the way home we stopped at a neighbours place which happens to have a few maples lining the yard. We already asked if we could rake some leaves and play in them - which they thought was a great idea!! Our yard has a red maple tree and a few little maples. In about 20 years we'll have leaves like these!! Randy raked with some help from Brennan, who brought his little sand rake along. I got down on the ground and waited for the fun. This has to be one of my favourite things to do. Jump in, walk in, roll in a big pile of leaves. The sound...the smell. I LOVE it!!
