!FIRE! !FIRE!

Last night we had a big neighbourhood bonfire. There was a total of 14 adults & 9 children. These are neighbours that we celebrate Canada Day & Christmas with. We also get together throughout the summer for bonfires. Most times it's just the 'guys' that get together, but last night it was for the whole family. Brennan enjoyed himself. He watched the 'bigger' kids running around, playing on his playset, playing with his ball. He did really well. He even ran around with them at times. Randy burnt some of his 'holy' jeans. Had stories to tell with each pair - he was the entertainment for the evening LOL. There was a couple that we just started talking to yesterday at their yardsale that came to the fire too. They have lived on the road for 5 years & this is the first time we have gotten together with them. They were great! Kind of wish we had known them for the last 5 years. They had a great time & were one of the last people to leave.
It was a GREAT evening (except for those nasty mosquitos!). I'm allergic to them & this year I'm taking Benedryl which works well.
The picture of Brennan was taken right after the fire started. He was in awe & pointed & babbled & said "WOW"! Too cute!
